Emergency Care
When It's a Dental Emergency (And When It Isn't)
True dental emergencies share a few common signals: uncontrolled bleeding, facial swelling, a knocked-out tooth, or pain severe enough to disrupt sleep. In any of these cases, call our office immediately — same-day care is available.
Other situations — a chipped edge, a lost filling, mild sensitivity — feel urgent but can typically wait 24–48 hours without consequence. Knowing the difference saves you stress and unnecessary trips.
When in doubt, call. We'd rather triage a non-emergency than have you wait through a real one.
